This is my walking, hiking and rambling travel blog. I fell in love with walking in beautiful places during a family holiday many years ago and you can read about where that all started here. Isle of Skye.
This website started as a way of just recording my travels purely for my own benefit, so I could look back at some of the wonderful places I’ve visited in the UK and around the world.
As this blog builds into something much bigger than it is now, I’m sure that PR people from all sorts of holiday companies and the like will want to get in touch to ask if they can have a featured post on here.
Feel free to contact me, BUT please don’t contact me for free promotions on the blog or ‘exposure’. I’m knew to blogging yes, but I wasn’t born yesterday.
Going forward the vast majority of the of the content on this website will be about walking holidays that I’ve enjoyed where I have paid all my own expenses. If I mention any products or services, then I’ve most likely bought and paid for them myself.
If in future I’m luckily enough to be offered accommodation to review a holiday home/B&B etc or sample products to try or other forms of remuneration to write about a particular holiday then I will clearly highlight that fact in the post.
Whether incentivized or not I still write exactly what I feel. To the point where if I really think something is bad, I will just refuse to work with the firm no matter what they are offering.
So you can be in no doubt, any review-type article on this website will always highlighted clearly with ** in the footer of the article and an explanation of exactly what the incentive/remuneration is, so you know that it’s an advertisement type article.
If you would like to contact me my email address is:
If you would like me to write a review etc, then please get in touch to see if it is something I’d like to get involved with.
I look forward to hearing from you.
